ITS supplies Reno A&E and EDI NEMA and 170/2070 Conflict Monitor Units (CMU) and Malfunction Management Units (MMU).
Malfunction Management Unit, OLED Display, Ethernet
The Model MMU-1600D Malfunction Management Unit is a fully featured unit that monitors up to 16 traffic signal channels for conflicting inputs, improper sequencing, incorrect timing, and invalid voltage levels.
The MMU2-16LE SmartMonitor® series Malfunction Management Unit (MMU) exceeds all the requirements set forth in the NEMA Standard TS2-2003 (R2008), including NEMA Amendment #4-2012 for Flashing Yellow Arrow (MMU2). The MMU2-16LE series includes two large area Liquid Crystal Displays (LCD) for a continuous Full Intersection display. A separate graphical LCD provides a menu driven interface to status, signal voltages, configuration, event logs, and the integrated context sensitive Help System.
The MMU-16E series Malfunction Management Units (MMU) exceed all the requirements set forth in the NEMA Standard TS2-2003 , Part 4. These units are intended to provide basic conflict and voltage monitoring for NEMA TS-2 traffic controller assemblies while maintaining downward compatibility with NEMA TS-1 assemblies.
The Model 210C meets all the requirements set forth in the Caltrans Traffic Signal Control Specifications. These units are intended to provide basic conflict and voltage monitoring for Type 170/179 traffic controller assemblies.
The model 210E meets all the requirements set forth in the Caltrans Traffic Signal Control Specifications and provides the enhanced functions of Red signal monitoring, Dual Indication monitoring and Clearance monitoring.
The Model 2010 meets all the requirements set forth in the Caltrans Traffic Signal Control Specifications and provides the enhanced functions of Red signal monitoring, Dual Indication monitoring and Clearance monitoring. This model provides full compliance to the 2010 industry standard and is compatible with the 2070 Controller Unit.
The model 2010ECL is configured for operation with a 2070 Controller Unit in a 332 cabinet. It provides all the enhanced features of the ECL family, including broad fault coverage, full intersection display, advanced event logging and RMS voltage reporting. The 2010ECL series monitor is compatible with 170, 179 and 2070 Controller Units. This unit includes support for Flashing Yellow Arrow operation.
The model 2018ECL is configured for operation with a 2070 Controller Unit in a 332 cabinet. It provides all the features of the 2010ECL model but with expanded 18 channels of monitoring. The 2018ECL series monitor is compatible with 170, 179 and 2070 Controller Units. This unit includes support for Flashing Yellow Arrow operation.
The model 2018KCL is configured with a removable Datakey memory device that contains all the monitor set-up information and completely eliminates the need for a diode Program Card, soldered jumpers and DIP switches .
Reno A&E’s Model 2018 Conflict Monitor is the first 170 / 2070 compatible monitor to include features that simplify monitoring of complex intersections. The Model 2018 sets new standards in reliability and functionality by providing enhanced monitoring functions, event logging capability, database management, and advanced diagnostic features. Reno A&E’s Model 2018 meets the requirements set forth in Chapter 3, Section 6, of the Caltrans Transportation Electrical Equipment Specifications (TEES) dated 08/16/02.
